Next Wednesday, December 20th, LEAP is going to the Movies! We are renting out the Maynard Fine Arts Theatre to watch Ferdinand! Check out the trailer below and make sure to sign a field trip permission slip before the trip.

“A Night of A Capella” is only one week away! Join us on Friday December 15th from 7-9pm at Bemis Hall, right down the street from the Lincoln Library. There will be live music, food, raffle items and a silent auction, as well as a cash bar.

This is an amazing opportunity to get to know the LEAP teachers outside of LEAP, as well as mingle and socialize with other LEAP parents and lincoln residents. All proceeds will support tuition assistance and special programs for LEAP.

Please note: everyone is welcome to attend this event–it’s not just for LEAP families. If you have friends that love A Capella music, bring them! If your distant cousin is visiting from out of town, drag them along. A lonely neighbor that needs to get out of the house? Invite them to join in the fun!

Thank you to all family and friends and community members that pledged food items for the Turkey Trot! All of the kids participated in the Turkey Trot yesterday and most of them ran 5 laps or more! One LEAPer ran 16 laps!

If you did not fill out a pledge form, don’t worry about it. If you can bring in one can per your child’s lap, that is a great way to recognize their accomplishments–otherwise, just bring what you can. All food items will be donated to the American Red Cross. Thank you all for your participation and support!

This Wednesday is the Turkey Trot! Kids will be running laps around Center Field to raise cans and non-perishable food items for the American Red Cross! If you or your child doesn’t have a pledge form yet, please download the LEAP Turkey Trot pledge form here. Thank you to all the families and friends who have already pledged. We are so excited to teach these kids about helping their communities.
