School Vacation Programs

Vaca-Playdays

During the February and April school vacations, LEAP offers Vaca-Playdays for children in grades K-5 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Vaca-Playdays is open to all Lincoln students, not just those who are already enrolled in LEAP. Kids will have the opportunity to get out of the house and hang out with friends in a relaxed and fun-filled environment at LEAP.

“I like to think of the LEAP building like a giant ship. We’re all on a themed cruise together. Since we aren’t going on a family vacation, we go with our friends on the Vaca-Playdays cruise in our imaginations,” says LEAP director Katie Hawkins.

Parents must register and pay by the deadline. To view prices and register please visit the Lincoln Recreation Department website.

Absences and Cancellations

  • Minimum enrollment — At least eight children are required to run this program. If fewer than eight are registered by the deadlines, LEAP reserves the right to cancel the program. Parents who have already registered will receive a full refund. LEAP is otherwise not responsible for refunding any participants who cancel after registrations have been received.
  • Absences — Participants who will be absent due to illness or  any reason must call LEAP by 9 a.m.
  • Bad weather — Vaca-Playdays will be open during inclement weather. If road conditions are bad, call the LEAP office at 781-259-0615 to verify that Vaca-Playdays is open. LEAP is unable to offer a refund for closings due to a state of emergency.

Lincoln Summer Day Camp

During the summer, the Lincoln Summer Day Camp uses the LEAP facilities and employs several LEAP teachers as camp counselors. For more information and online registration, see the Lincoln Recreation Department website.
