This week the Lincoln Parks and Rec department is hosting the annual Winter Carnival right here in Lincoln! There will be all kinds of fun activities and events for kids and adults.  Among these events is the Intergenerational Sing-Along at Bemis Hall on Friday, January 26^th at 3:30pm.

LEAPers are invited to join Magic Garden and the Lincoln Council on Aging to perform some of their favorite songs, sing along, or just sit and watch. A bus will be taking LEAPers to and from the event if they choose to attend.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Welcome back everybody! We hope you all had a wonderful vacation and got a great start to 2018. We are so happy to be back at LEAP, and excited to share with you all the things we have planned for January!

A new round of CLUBS will start Wednesday, January 10^th. We’ll have: Baking with Kristen, Hat Making with Debbie, Coding & Computers with Logan, and New England Sports (Each week features a different sport & Team) with Jordan! The kids will sign up for their clubs on Wednesday and continue with that

The first Fun Night of 2018 will be Friday, January 12^th from 6 to 9pm. Sign up at LEAP for anight of fun, pizza, movie, and ice-cream sundaes! For only $20 per kid, your kids can have a fun night with their friends, and you can have a fun night of your own!

No School on January 15^th to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. And Tuesday the 16^th is Teacher Professional Day at LPS. LEAP will be open Tuesday January 16^th from 8-4. The price is $40 for a LEAPer, and $70 for a non-leaper. Sign up by emailing Katie at leap0615@gmail.com

We will have our first Field Trip of the year in late January. Details to come soon!

February vacation will be here before you know it! LEAP has got you covered with VACA-PLAYDAYS. Open from 8-4, LEAP will have special activities Tuesday through Friday during the week of vacation. Learn more on our website and sign up through the Lincoln Parks and Recreation Department before it’s too late!

Please make sure to send your child with full snow gear. We will be sledding and playing in the snow, but kids must have these 5 clothing items in order to go out: hat/hood, jacket, gloves/mittens, snow-pants, and boots.

Once a month we will feature a new teacher here on the website. Get to know some of our new teachers, and learn something new about the veterans.
