Tonight, September 16, 2016 is the first LEAP Fun Night of the year!! From 6-9pm we invite any and all children (and adults) to join us for pizza, ice-cream, and a movie. Our Fun Night Feature will be The “Angry Birds” movie! Just $20/student, all are welcome !!!

Dear families,

Welcome to LEAP! We’re delighted to begin the school year and to celebrate 37 years as Lincoln’s after-school care program.

The LEAP team is so excited to meet new families and welcome back our many returning families. We are looking forward to hearing about your summer and learning about your children’s plans for the school year. We are happy to announce that many of our staff will be returning for the school year.

Watch your email for messages about field trips, guest speakers and other activities. We’re gearing up for a fall full of sports, arts and crafts, great electives, homework help, and most important, new and old friends in LEAP’s fun, respectful and safe environment.

Hi Parents!

It’s the FINAL COUNTDOWN!

• This coming Monday there is a PTO pool party at the Codman Pool. LEAP will be attending the party.
• We will also have the option for kids to go to the pool all week long, so please send your child with a bathing-suit and towel, and anything else they might need for the pool. LEAP does not allow students to buy snacks at the pool, so there is no need to send your child with money.
• The LEAP/METCO carnival has been moved to June 15^th. Because of the weather forecast, the Carnival was postponed and will be happening this Wednesday! Make sure to stop by to get popcorn and ice cream, and play fun carnival games. We hope to see you there!

• LEAP FUN DAYS vacation program is happening Monday June 20th- WED June 22nd.  The price is $50 per child/per day.  A schedule of these days will be coming out shortly. Sign up now before the end of school year sneaks up on you!
• We would like to wrap up finances by the end of June. Please send in any unpaid invoices by the last day of school.

• Registration for next year has already started! Make sure to get your forms in before July 15^th to get the discounted registration fee of $50. After July 15^th, the registration fee is $100.

Happy June! We only have a few weeks left in the school year—time flies when the LEAPers are having fun!

Here are a few more things coming up that you should know about:

• Wednesday, June 8^th LEAP&METCO are having a carnival! There will be a bouncy house, popcorn, face-painting, games and more! Come join us for this end of the year celebration!
• June 13-17th the Codman pool will be open! LEAP will be going to the pool in the afternoon, so please have kids can bring their bathing suits and towels. The Rec department will have life-guards on duty. Kids will need to pass the deep water to use the deep end.
• Please send your children in with sunscreen. Summer is here and we are outside a lot! LEAP has sunscreen available, but you know what works best for your children.
