Here’s what we’ve got going on next week! The weather is supposed to be so beautiful and we’ve got a special guest coming to do some Pottery work with us on Wednesday!

Just a few pics from yet another wonderful wednesday! Check out what the younger kids saw at DeCordova and then take a peek at the finished Kindness Rocks Display with so many incredible rocks created by LEAPers of all ages. Kids and adults can feel free to take and share rocks that brings joy to them. Ask your kids what they learned with this project and what they put on their rock, then join us in this growing community project!
As part of our Earth Day Theme Day, LEAPers will all be learning about the Kindness Rocks Project and decorating some rocks to share with the world. Check out this video to learn more about the Kindness Rocks Project and how it all started
Rocks will be in front of LEAP in our new display case and we encourage kids and adults to take one that speaks to you, share with a friend, or add one of your own to the pile. Let’s all work together to spread kindness and caring throughout the world!
Once a month we feature a different teacher here on the website. Get to know some of our new teachers, and learn something new about the veterans.

Check out these awesome activities we have planned for the coming week!

We are so happy that the weather is starting to get warmer and we can go play outside again! LEAPers and teachers are excited to be doing more and more outside activities, including Fort Building in the Woods, going on Nature Walks, and outdoor free-play.
Because of these activities, however, we want to remind everyone to be aware of Ticks, Poison Ivy, Sunburns, and other outdoor dangers to children. LEAP staff is doing all they can to assist children and keep them safe, but we can’t do it alone.
Here is a great educational website about tick safety for kids– it’s a good idea to make tick-checks a part of your bedtime routine. Parents are welcome to send students with sunscreen and bug-spray and the LEAP staff will assist if necessary. Thank you for helping us keep your children safe!
Next Friday, May 4th is another LEAP FUN NIGHT! Mark your calendars for a Fun Friday Night– Kids come to leap for a movie with friends, and parents get the night off!
Spring weather is finally here and so are the awesome activities that come with it! The Lincoln Parks and Rec department has plenty of new and exciting event to participate in, and sports, play rehearsals and more are swinging into full gear!

Here at LEAP, we are happy to assist families by bringing LEAP students to any activities they may have here on the school campus. If your student is participating in one of these activities, please fill out the child release form 2017-2018 and return it to LEAP. Thank you and have fun!
Welcome back from vacation! Here’s what we have going on this week at LEAP! April 22 is EARTH DAY so this whole week we have earth and science themes throughout the week and a Earth Day Theme Day on Wednesday!

Wednesday, April 11th, LEAP is going to the Acton Bowladrome & Arcade!

Kids will get to bowl a few rounds with their friends and then play some games in the arcade area! The Bus will leave LEAP at 1:30 and return to LEAP at 4:30pm. If you haven’t filled out a Field Trip Permission Slip, please download it here and return to LEAP before the trip. Let’s knock em down!
