Wednesday, November 22nd LEAP will host a Friends-Giving Turkey Trot! Kids will have 30 minutes to walk or run around Center Field right here on the Lincoln Public Schools Campus. If it rains, we will hold the drive in the Brooks Gym.

We are asking parents and community members to help us raise non-perishable foods to donate to the American Red Cross. Please help LEAP students fill out this form by adding your name and the amount of food items you will pledge per lap. We will be collecting food items at LEAP during the weeks between Thanksgiving and Winter break.

Each child will be getting a LEAP Turkey Trot form to collect pledges from family and community members.

LEAP’s annual fundraiser is December 15th. A magical night of music from some of the best A Capella groups in the area! Don’t miss this wonderful event thats fun for parents and kids!

This Wednesday, a bunch of the big kids went over to the Council on Aging to help some Lincoln Residents with their technology needs. Thanks Big Kids for helping out the community. Check it out!

Ready for a new round of CLUBS?!

This time we have “Nature Club” run by Ashley, “Make-Your-own-Comic-Books” with Griffin, “Singing” with Jamie, and “Sports” with Louise and Jordan.

The next LEAP Fun Night will be Friday, December 1st!

Our most recently newsletter promised a Fun Night on November 17th. Unfortunately the LEAP building has already promised to host the Middle School Cast Party that night, so we regrettably must postpone Fun Night to the first Friday in December. We hope to see you all there!

Next Wednesday, Nov 8th is our annual field trip to Roller Kingdom!

LEAP will rent blades/skates for each kid and we will all help teach any beginners. Get your permission slip signed before next wednesday!

Once a month we will feature a new teacher here on the website. Get to know some of our new teachers, and learn something new about the veterans.
